Freyja is the Norse Goddess of beauty, sex, and war. She was a Vanir associated with magic, wealth, and took half of the fallen warriors to the hall of Folkvangr for the afterlife. She rides a chariot drawn by cats, is wife of Odin, mother of Baldur, and she cries tears of gold. She is also associated with Friday and Yule. Freyja wears a necklace called Brisingamen.
